perfect soundtrack.

I'm Justin. I'm from Cambridge, and cars have been the thing for me for as long as I can remember. Like most enthusiasts I had a shortlist of cars I dreamed about owning one day, and the Aston Martin DB11 V12 sat right at the top of it. After years of working towards it, I finally got mine, and in almost every way it was the car I'd imagined. The design, the presence, the way it drove. But there was one thing that never quite matched the rest of it, and that was the soundtrack.

For a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12, I expected more drama than I got. From behind the wheel the car felt incredible, yet the sound never seemed to tell the same story as what was happening underneath it. So I went chasing something better. Not simply louder. More character, more theatre, more of the exotic tone I always felt a V12 Aston Martin deserved.

That's where the experimenting began. Different exhaust configurations, pipe layouts, crossover designs, all to see how far the character of the engine could be shaped. The aim was never noise for its own sake. It still had to feel right for an Aston Martin, refined when it needed to be but far more dramatic when you pushed it. It became a long process of testing, changing and refining until the car finally sounded the way I'd always pictured it.

That work eventually became the Signature Crossover. It was built to give the DB11 V12 a more distinctive, exotic tone while keeping the quality and usability you'd expect from a car at this level. Then other owners started hearing it and asking how they could get the same sound, and it became clear this was worth developing properly rather than staying a one-off on my own car.

That's where Vessara started. What began as a personal project has grown into a specialist automotive brand making products that genuinely add to the experience of owning and driving special cars. Every Signature Crossover is hand-built in Britain by specialist fabricators from high-quality stainless steel, made to order rather than mass produced. That's how we keep the finish, the attention to detail and the consistency I'd demand if I were buying one for my own car.

I'm personally involved in every car we develop products for, and wherever I can I own and drive them myself, so I understand what works, what doesn't, and what owners should expect. Everything is tested properly in the real world before it goes on sale, and nothing is released until I'm completely happy it meets the standard I'd want for my own cars. That means looking past sound and performance to fitment, finish, usability, durability and everything else that comes with actually living with the product.

Vessara is still very much enthusiast-led, and I want to keep it that way. Every new product starts from the same principle: it should make the car more exciting to own without taking away anything that made it special in the first place. If that means spending longer getting something right, so be it. I'd rather release something late than release something I'm not proud of.

Because to me an exhaust isn't just a set of pipes underneath a car. It changes the whole experience. The cold start in the morning, the sound through a tunnel, the way the engine builds through the revs, the feeling every time you press the start button. Vessara came out of the pursuit of something better, and that obsession with improving the driving experience will shape everything we make from here.
